November 2006 Tom Levin won the New Music Weekly Award for AC Male Artist of the Year in the U.S. The other nominees were James Blunt, John Mayer and Daniel Powter. His song “Just” from his second album “Me, my band that I älskar, Kasper and a bunch of friends” had heavy rotation on U.S independent radio. At the beginning of 2007 the song was #1 for four weeks on (AC/Hot AC Top 40 Chart/NMW). His song “Please disturb me” reached #4 on the same list.
The first single “I nod my head” and the album “Unfair in my favor” were recorded live together with Tom’s band and guest artists. His music has been described as “A tasteful mix of singer-songwriter, pop, gospel, country and a drop of jazz.” or "Magical, low-key alternative rock. A blend between the majesty of Pink Floyd and the subtle presence of a singer-songwriter”
”I nod my head” will be released May 6 by Cosmos Records and then followed by Tom Levin’s third album ”Unfair in my favor” on June 11.
